Louis Metro Police Department is investigating The victim sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene and released by emergency medical services. The second subject was described by the victim as a male in his 40s wearing a blue t-shirt. The female subject was wearing a blue scarf around her head and a blue and white shirt. The victim described the first subject as a heavy-set 5’7” female, estimated to be in her mid-30s with a gap between her front teeth.
Both the male and female subjects got into a vehicle parked nearby and fled the scene, driving east on McPherson. As the two were struggling, a male subject, approached and took the employee’s purse. When the employee did not respond, the subject began to physically assault the employee while trying to take the employee’s purse. The female subject said something unintelligible to the employee. A female store employee had just closed the business and was walking to her car when a female subject approached her. Louis region.Īt around 9:15pm on, there was a “strong-arm” robbery outside a restaurant in the 6100 block of McPherson. Local police municipalities have recently reported an increase in motor vehicle break-ins across the St. WUPD has issued several security memos in the past month related to car thefts and break-ins. It is believed the incident took place sometime between 6pm and 8:00pm.
The first vehicle was broken into in the 6300 block of Cates. Please immediately take the precautions listed below. WUPD has learned that (3) vehicles were broken into this evening in the University City Delmar Loop area.
